Under the Youth Employment Initiative, the European Union is contributing to the cost of this project through the European Social Fund (ESF). "Working to support young people in Birmingham into work or training" A group of neighbourhood nonprofits has come together to offer this project, which is designed to assist and encourage young people to return to school or the workforce. If you are between the ages of 15 and 29 and are either unemployed or inactive, we can help you advance to employment or further education by supporting the development of your skills and credentials. We seek to help you show yourself by providing access to training, certifications, work experience/placements, and volunteer opportunities to bring young people closer to the labour market.
We can offer the below:
- Advice and Support
- Welfare and Rights
- qualifications and training
- confidence building, anxiety or mental health
- support into a new career
- help with travel
Eligibility
- To be eligible for this support you must be – aged 15 to 29
- a resident in the West Midlands
- unemployed or in receipt of benefits (Jobseeker’s Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Universal Credit) or inactive
